A 40-year-old man's genitals were chopped off with a meat cleaver in Rajasthan after he was caught trying to rape a teenage girl.
The incident took place in Ganganagar.
Suresh Kumar was dragged to a butcher's shop where he was beaten up with sticks for an hour before castrating him.
印度拉贾斯坦邦一名40岁的男子因企图强奸一名少女，被愤怒的群众用切肉刀割去了生殖器。
据悉，这一事件发生在加讷格尔。
苏雷什•库马尔(Suresh Kumar)被拖到一家肉店里，棒打一个小时后被割下生殖器。
The locals were alerted by the girl's screams for help.
Finding the accused png the girl against a wall, a mob dragged him to a butchers shop before castrating him, the Mail online reported on Friday.
They then dumped the severed remains in the middle of a road and left a bloodied Kumar nearby, it said.
当时受辱少女的尖叫求助引来了当地群众。

No one 'went to help' Kumar because they knew he had been punished for a 'sex crime', the mail said quoting witness Aamir Dhawan.
"We have had a lot of intolerable offences against women in this country recently, with girls being raped, hung, and molested, and it's time it stopped.
"This sends out a very strong message to anyone like that - if you do it you will be punished," Dhawan said.
《每日邮报》引述目击者阿米尔·达万（Aamir Dhawan）的话称，没人愿意帮助库马尔，因为大家知道他是因为“性犯罪”而受罚。

Meanwhile, the police are looking for the attackers, saying people can't take the law into their "own hands".
"As deplorable as these crimes are, law and order has to be maintained, and not lynch justice. We ask those men who carried out this attack to hand themselves in before we find them," an officer said.

Kumar was eventually taken to hospital where doctors described his condition as critical.
The girl involved was treated for shock, and given counselling.
