Why to buy equipment and let it rot? Small neighbours like Pakistan, Bangla Desh, Sri-Lanka and even Mauritius cannot be tamed with all these high priced imported equipment. The govt. does not have any strategy or focus-just buy blindly at the taxpayers expense.

something fishy is going on in the Navy .. just because the vessel is about 30 yrs doesn't mean it has to sink. There are many countries with vessels far more older functioning fine as long as the service and maintenance is done properly.
