Hello Suchisree,

People are quite happy in China at least as much as they are here if not more. There are not many beggars to see the smiles and joys on their faces but there are no idlers and lollygags either. People work very hard, because there are no freebies. I will invite you for a trip, if my plan for setting up a tourism service worked ever.

Navneet whatever be the China story, there can be no doubt that India has still a long way to go especially with regards to creating Infrastructure, rural development,rooting out corruption.sanitation and hygiene(cleanliness).

India has a lot to learn from China and I wish that all this must come as an inspiration. If they could do, we surely can. That's what I believe and like you I too also think that with Modi in command things will turn around for good. Let's still keep our fingers crossed because Indians have a history of defeating the efforts of the patriots by siding with the enemies for small self gains. The people who have been presiding over the corrupt army of subservient, venal subordinates won't give up easily and even if the Indian voter has matured, the matured voter is not in majority. As regards trip of China, I would want your wish to come true. If one day I am in a position to offer a free trip to my friends, you will be one of them.

I hope that we too progress like they have. Some of the scenes like people struggling to get some provisions in extreme weather conditions are pathetic. During the British we might have had such starving people and abject poverty but I do believe that all along we have been better off than them. That's all the more reason for us to do better than them.
