NEW DELHI: After regularization of unauthorized colonies, the central government plans to redevelop slum clusters in the city. On Tuesday, the Union urban development ministry announced its plan to redevelop 685 clusters in the next five years and make Delhi slum-free. While the ministry and Delhi administration will formulate the guidelines for smooth implementation of the project, the redevelopment will be done based on the models followed in Gujarat, Mumbai and Chennai.
把未经许可的聚居地（贫民窟）合法化之后，中央政府计划改建这座城市中的贫民窟群落。星期二，中央城市发展部宣布了今后5年改造685个群落、打造'无贫民窟'德里的计划。该部将会与德里市政府一起制定稳妥实施这一项目的指导纲要，然而改造工作会在仿照古吉拉特、孟买和金奈模式的基础上进行。
In a meeting Urban development minister Venkaiah Naidu directed the ministry, Delhi administration and DDA to make concentrated efforts to make Delhi slum-free. Naidu said, "Delhi needs to be made slum-free to enable seamless urban development." As in the case of unauthorized colonies, June 1, 2014, will be the cut-off date for identifying the beneficiaries.
在一次会议上，城市发展部部长V 奈度指示本部、德里市政府和德里发展局，集中精力打造'无贫民窟'德里。奈度说，“实现无瑕疵城市发展，德里需要被打造成'无贫民窟'城市。” 就'未经允许的聚居区'个案来说，2014年6月1日，将会是认可受益者的截止日期。
The ministry will formulate guidelines in a week. Officials say the plan is to construct three lakh houses in the city. This announcement will help BJP, which has been trying to make inroads in clusters, cut into AAP's votebank in the upcoming assembly elections. The party is going all out to woo the voters of city's JJ clusters. From housing to small gas cylinders, the BJP promises to provide a wide range of facilities to this neglected section in it is vision document for slum clusters in the city. To tell people about party's grand plan for them, Delhi BJP has organized a run from state BJP office at Pant Marg to BJP headquarters at Ashoka Road on Janaury 8.

Sources say, thousands of slum dweller will participate in the run. "Jhuggi-Jhopri ka Vikas, Daudo Modi ke Saath is our slogan. We want to tell people living in these clusters about our party's plan for them. Apart from housing, we will address all their problems,'' said Vijay Goel, in-charge of JJ cluster committee for the upcoming elections.

Talking about the party's vision for slum clusters, Delhi BJP chief Satish Upadhyay said, "We will establish Basti Vikas Kendras in slums where women and girls will be provided skill development training. We will also start programme to discourage slum kids from indulging in drugs and betting. We will also setup dispensaries and toilets here. The government is making efforts to ensure that slum dwellers get pulses, edible oil and small gas cylinders apart from basic ration."

What are they talking !! They cannot remove Vehicles from footpaths or lined across the Roads in Delhi.They( politicians) are responsible for creation of more and more Slums!! Are the unauthorised colonies now being regularised any better than SLUMS?
I would request the press to follow these irresponsible statements of Politicians to some logical end ! Never let them off the Hook for these SILY statements ? Modi's ministers are vying with each other to issue such kind of Iresponsible statements!
他们在说什么呀!！德里人行道上、橫道线的车辆他们都移不走。他们（政客们）对新建越来越多的贫民窟负有责任!！'未经允许的聚居地'现在合法化了，比贫民窟好一点了吗？我要求媒体跟踪这些政客不负责任的说法，有个合理的结局！决不让他们从这些蠢话脱身。穆迪的部长们相互比着发表这种不负责仼的声明！
