The four-storey building, in lane number 7 of NA block, was constructed only recently, residents said. The structure crashed around 9pm and fell on another building. Residents alerted the police and fire department immediately. Ten fire tenders arrived soon after along with disaster management teams.
居民们说，这幢位于NA街区7号巷的四层楼房是新近修建的。大约在晚上九点钟，这幢楼的结构崩塌并倒向另一幢楼。居民们立刻通知了警察和消防部门。10辆消防车在灾害管理部门之后很快赶到。
The local police also reached within 10 minutes and initiated rescue operations, aided by torches and vehicle lights. NDRF teams rescued eight people within an hour. Many more may be trapped, officials said.

Police have registered an FIR under Section 304 A (causing death due to negligence) of IPC. The cause of the collapse has not been ascertained. Police are still looking for the builder.
