COIMBATORE: Three days ago, the Saravanampatti police went into a tizzy as they received information that a woman was 'raped' by two men in a women's hostel room in the area. The woman said she did not prefer making a complaint as it would shame her family and also threatened suicide if a complaint was filed.
3天前，萨拉瓦纳姆帕蒂警方收到一名女子在一家女子旅馆被两名男子“强奸”的信息后陷入一片混乱。这名女子称她不愿意提出投诉，否则会令家人蒙羞，并以自杀相威胁。
But investigations have revealed that she had staged the drama as she was in love with a man since the age of 14. But her parents were against it. To put an end to her parents' attempt to get her married to someone else, she claimed that she had been raped.
但是调查显示她导演了这场闹剧，因为她从14岁就爱上了一名男子，而她父母表示反对。为了结束她父母让她嫁给别人的尝试，她声称自己被强奸了。
"After we received information, we conducted investigations at the hostel and later tracked the 22-year-old woman in Erode," said police officials. The woman was working in a private company in the city for the past one year.
有警官表示，“接报后，我们在旅馆展开了调查，随后跟踪了那名22岁的女子。”据悉，过去一年里，那名女子在一家私人公司上班。
Initial investigation at the hostel revealed that she was found unconscious in her hostel room and was tied up in a chair at 11am, on July 28. Her parents reached the hostel and took her home in the afternoon. The police officials reached Erode and interrogated her. When she began describing the incident, we had our doubts and on further investigation, she said she did not remember anything," said a police official.
在旅馆的初步调查显示，7月28日上午11点，她在旅馆被发现不省人事，双手被绑在一张椅子上。她父母抵达那家旅馆，当天下午把她带回家里。警方后来去她家审问。“她描述案件时，我们产生了疑问，并进一步展开调查。她说自己什么也记不住了。”一位警官说。
Later, when they explained to her about the gravity of the situation, she confessed to them that she had staged the entire episode and told them about her lover. "Since it was an inter-caste marriage, her parents disapproved. As they had insisted that they would get her married to a person of their choice by year end, she staged this drama," said police officials.
后来，向她解释事态的严重性后，她坦白自己导演了整个事件，然后谈到她的爱人。“由于是跨种姓婚姻，她父母不赞成。他们坚持让她年底时嫁给他们选定的人，所以她导演了这场闹剧。”
