NEW DELHI: The Army is likely to go for Israeli quick-reaction surface-to-air missiles (QR-SAMs) to take on enemy fighters, helicopters and drones after firmly rejecting any further induction of the much-touted indigenous Akash missiles.
印度陆军坚决反对引入备受吹捧的国产阿卡什导弹，可能选择以色列地对空导弹，用来对付敌人的战机、直升机和无人机。
Defence ministry sources said the Army has made it clear that it does not want any more Akash regiments after it gets the first two ordered earlier for Rs 14,180 crore, with six firing batteries and hundreds of missiles each.
国防部消息人士称，之前订购了两个团的阿卡什导弹，每个团各下辖6个发射连，各配备数百枚导弹，然而印度陆军已经明确表明不希望再引入更多的阿卡什导弹了。
This marks a major blow to the 'Make in India' policy, especially since the Navy is turning to France for similar requirements after dum the Akash missiles for its warships due to "stabilisation problems".

When ever they test fire these missiles they issue statement that the missile successfully hit the target and its a great mile stone and bla bla bla... !!!
So all those press statements are fake ????? What is happening to our thousands of crores of money invested in DRDO, HAL ??? Do we really have any good missile, fighter craft or chopper ????

Lack of motivation of staff....... otherwise a country which has one of the best Space Scientists in the world should not be struggling with missile technologies, which generally is the first step of the space ladder.
