Sir, your grand parents must have same idea. Is it necessary to create airport ? where as we have highway & trains to go from Mumbai to Delhi. Before 30 years how many Indian can afford to fly in airplane ? If we would have stick to their thoughts we couldn't have world class terminals in India or domestic players like Indigo, Jet airways etc. Of course it is important to provide drinking water & have good school for students.There is already govt. schemes for drinking water projects & school for children . The effective implementation of central govt scheme lies with state govt officials. Rs 35,0000 crore was invested in irrigation projects in Vidarbha & marathawada region alone. What is the result ? Still we have to send water train in summer season.

Hope those 98 crores investment may spend in a right way and Bullet train come to on track without any interruption nor any scandals..because 98 crores is a huge investment and there are hawks and vultures that may try to swallow that amount..partly or fully..

Just for one route, spending 97K Crores ?Do we really need it ?Can't we spend this money for any other major burning issues like making more Ponds/interlinking of rivers etc to address former concerns which will have cascading impact in other sectors ?
