原子弹幸存者希望奥巴马在广岛道歉
TOKYO: A group representing Japanese survivors of US atomic bombings has asked US President Barack Obama to hear their stories and apologize when he visit Hiroshima .
Two leaders of the Tokyo-based nationwide group said Thursday many survivors want an apology though they avoided an outright demand for one.
美国原子弹爆炸的一群日本幸存者，要求美国总统奥巴马倾听他们的故事，并在访问广岛时道歉。
总部在东京的全国性组织的两位领袖表示，许多幸存者希望得到一个道歉，不过他们避免直率的要求做出道歉。
US atomic bombings on Hiroshima and Nagasaki at the end of the World War II killed more than 200,000 people and nearly destroyed the cities.
Obama will visit Hiroshima on May 27 after the Group of Seven summit in central Japan, becoming the first serving American president to do so.
Washington said he won't apologize and a meeting with survivors is unlikely. That apparently prompted the survivors to remind him of their true feelings and expectations for his commitment to a nuclear-free world.
二战结束之际，美国原子弹轰炸广岛和长崎，导致20多万人死亡，城市几乎被毁。
七国峰会结束后，奥巴马将于5月27日访问广岛，成为第一个访问广岛的现任美国总统。

That was a different era and Germany and Japan also wanted to conquer the world, but they ended up conquering each other instead. After the War, England also became a lim industrial and imperial power, on the back foot and ready to grant independence to colonies where freedom struggles were gaining power. So who will apologize to whom, was Obama there and did he drop the bomb? Now a nuclear deterrent is in place.
