JODHPUR: A MiG-27 fighter jet of the Indian Air Force crashed in Rajasthan's Jodhpur on Monday morning, damaging two houses.
However, there are no reports of any injury. Both the pilots ejected safely before the fighter jet crashed.
According to reports, the plane crashed shortly after take-off
The Air Force has ordered a Court of Inquiry into the incident.
周一上午，印度空军一架米格27战机坠毁在拉贾斯坦邦的焦特布尔，毁掉两座房子。
并未传来人员伤亡的报告。战机坠毁之前，两名飞行员成功跳伞
据报道，战机起飞不久后坠毁。
印度空军下令成立一个调查法庭来调查该事件。

MIGs are old now..better airforce phase them out as quickly as possible. The risk of loosing great human resource in military is very high with old aircrafts.

MiG-27 is based on the MiG-23 fighter aircraft, but optimized for air-to-ground attack. Unlike the MiG-23, the MiG-27 did not see widespread use outside Russia, as most countries opted for the MiG-23BN & Sukhoi Su-22 instead. It currently remains in service with the Indian, Kazakh and Sri Lankan Air Forces in the ground attack role! All Russian & Ukrainian MiG-27s have been retired!!

This height of nuisance from Air Force artillary. They should introspect in their fighter plane maintenance. This is really embarrassing for the IAF that is rated amongst the best in the world. IAF should start funding research in top engineering/research institutions and DRDO of India for development of "BORN IN INDIA" and "MADE FOR INDIA''S DEFENCE" tagged advanced fighter planes.
