WASHINGTON: New Delhi has little to fear from a Trump presidency given that ties between the two countries are solidly grounded in bipartisan consensus, both in India and the United States.
However, India will have to factor in Trump's unpredictability, his general ignorance and off-the-cuff approach to most problems, and his lack of experience in dealing with complex issues involving other sovereign nation states.
