NRI living aboard having few notes of 500 and 1000 ko muskil main daal diya. All money taken out from NRO A/C 2/3 years ago. No intention to visit India in near future.
MY JAPANESE FRIEND ALSO HAVE FEW NOTES. BOI N SBI NOT HELG. THEY HAVE ALSO NOTES.

I too have a few Indian notes.. I too was expecting that banks should do something to help NRIs in this situation.. Thing is, it appears that it is not legally right to take money outside country.. But I believe that if we make a trip to India before next march end, we should be able to get it changed..
