75%印度司机不懂得用GPS
NEW DELHI: A little over one-fourth of drivers in India know how to use GPS to ascertain the best route before starting a drive and nearly four in every 10 don't know that harsh accelerating and braking negatively impacts their cars' fuel consumption, a survey has found. Nearly one-fourth believe that kee the engine running while idling will save more fuel.
The findings are interesting considering that 95% of Indian drivers surveyed by automobile major Ford Motor Company claimed that they knew how to drive their car for maxmum efficiency and 96% said they made efforts to drive efficiently.
The survey, conducted across the Asia Pacific, covered 9,500 respondents and 1,020 drivers took part in India.
汽车巨头福特公司，对亚太地区的司机展开调查，受访者有9500位司机，其中印度有1020司机参与其中。
调查显示，印度只有四分之一的司机出发前懂得如何用GPS来确定最佳路线。每10位印度司机，大约4位司机不知道急加速和猛刹车会影响耗油量。
接近四分之一的印度司机，认为怠速时保持发动机转动可以省油。
调查结果是有趣的。受访的95%印度司机声称自己懂得如何开车最省油，96%印度司机表示开车时会尽量想办法省油。
