印度与美国签署500亿卢比的榴弹炮协议
NEW DELHI: India on Wednesday inked the $737 million (almost Rs 5,000 crore) contract for the acquisition of 145 M-777 ultra-light howitzers from the US in a government-to-government deal.
TOI was the first to report on November 17 that PM Narendra Modi-led Cabinet Committee on Security had cleared the deal for the acquisition of the first modern 155mm howitzers for the Army in over 30 years to break the Bofors inx+ .
The contract, of course, will also further consolidate the position of the US as one of the largest arms suppliers to India, having bagged deals worth over $15 billion since 2007.
11月30日，印度签署7.37亿美元（大约500亿卢比）的合同，从美国采购145门M777超轻型155毫米榴弹炮。
印度时报是11月17日第一个报道的，莫迪总理领衔的内阁安全委员会，批准为印度陆军采购第一批现代化的155毫米榴弹炮。
当然，这个合同将进一步巩固美国作为印度最大武器供应国之一的地位，自从2007年以来印度购买的美国武器已经超过150亿美元。

Please also note that 120 M-777 howitzers will be assembled,integrated and tested in India....Mahindra group is the Indian collaborator...Modi government is continuously building indigenous capability in every deal which was missing during previous regime.
