印度海军：密切跟踪印度洋上的中国军舰
NEW DELHI: India is closely tracking Chinese warships and submarines in the ongoing shadow-boxng for the same strategic space in the Indian Ocean region (IOR), and remains confident it can prevail if push comes to shove in the maritime domain.
"We keep a close eye on Chinese warships and submarines, including nuclear ones, and constantly monitor their movements in the IOR. We have the capabilities, assets and plans in place to tackle any threat or challenge," said Admiral Sunil Lanba on Friday, ahead of Navy Day on December 4.
This comes soon after reports that China could well deploy its warships and submarines in conjunction with Pakistan Navy at Gwadar port, the gateway to the much-touted $46 billion China-Pakistan Economic Corridor till injiang, to safeguard its trade and energy routes.

此前，有报道称，为了保护贸易和能源路线，中国可能在瓜达尔港部署军舰和潜艇，而瓜达尔港是倍受吹捧的460亿美元中巴经济走廊项目的大门。
