BAREILLY: A 14-year-old boy allegedly stole cash worth Rs 8,000 and jewellery from his home before elo with his 22-year-old school teacher, who is also the daughter of the school's owner. The incident happened on the night of December 1 and the boy's family realised he was missing only the following morning. Meanwhile, the woman's family have filed a complaint with the police.
一名14岁男生涉嫌偷走家里的8000卢比现金和珠宝，然后和22岁的女老师一起私奔，而后者是校长的女儿。

"My son eloped with the school teacher after stealing money and jewellery from our house. He did this at her behest. The woman is not of sound character and lured my son into commiting the crime and running away with her," said Ramveer (who goes by one name), father of the student.

Ramveer works with a private firm in the Faridpur area here. "I have been helplessly running around in search of my son ever since we found out he was missing, but without success. Given his age, he does not have the courage or mental maturity to take such an extreme step or take care of himself, wherever he is. I have been wary of informing the police but will do it on Monday," he added.

Meanwhile, the woman's family has already lodged a complaint with the police claiming that the boy's family orchestrated the incident to settle old scores. "I had fired one of the acquaintances of the boy's family who used to teach at my school. The entire incident is a conspiracy by the family to seek revenge. We have lodged a complaint with the police," said the owner of the school.
另一方面，女方家人已经向警方报案，称男方家人导演了这出闹剧，为的是算旧账。“我开除了男方家人的一位熟人，这位熟人以前在我学校教书的。整个事件就是男方家庭为了报复而搞的阴谋。我们已经向警方报了案。”这位校长说。
"This is a bizarre case. The woman's family is claiming that the minor boy abducted her at the behest of his family. We have registered an FIR under abduction against the boy. Prima facie, it does not appear likely. It is possible that the two of them were in a relationship and eloped to escape the wrath of both families. We are investigating the matter at the moment," said Yamuna Prasad, superintendent of police (rural), talking to TOI.
