India could be one of first countries to try the super fast transportation system Hyperloop, if Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari approves a pending proposal of Bibop Gresta, co-founder of Hyperloop Transportation Technologies.

The Hyperloop — high-speed travel in pods inside a partial-vacuum tube — is the brainchild of Tesla founder Elon Musk.

Hyperloop Transportation Technologies (HTT) says it will rely heavily on renewable and kinetic energy and keep costs low by using medians for the pylons.

It estimates that a single tube could carry 1.44 lakh passengers daily at 40-second intervals. Over a distance of 500 km, it is aiming for ticket price under $30, or Rs 200.

High speed Trains is a symbol of Advancement and modernity of a country. It also goes on to express that leaders are determined and committed to bring Revolutionary changes in our Country and without Bold changes we cannot expect improvements that we desire and aspire for .

Good. Speeds of exsting trains should be increased, with minimal needed changes to exsting infrastructure and all old coaches should be replaced with modern coaches built on sophisticated technology.

Financially non-beneficial. No need to waste billions of rupees for fantasy. Also speed trains not suitable for Indian environment as tracks may need re-structuring and cannot stop obstructions from human and animals.

经济上不可行,没必要浪费几十亿卢比

高铁不适合印度目前的环境,铁轨得重铺,而且无法避免人和牲畜的入侵。

Let us not forget that new trains will also accompany raise in fares. To be shortly introduced, ''Hamsafar'' all three tier trains will cost the commuters 20% extra for added facility of CCTV, GPS controlled Passenger Information System, dedicated mobile/laptop charging points to each berth & Braille display.

别忘了,新火车来了,票价也会提高

每个铺位上有电视,有GPS控制的乘客信息系统,有手机和笔记本充电插座等,票价就会提高20%
