The opening ceremony was held in the presence of Major General Y K Joshi, ADGMO of Indian Army and Major General Wang Haijiang of the People's Liberation Army and other senior Army officers of both the countries, said a defence release.
The opening ceremony was followed by enthralling and mesmerising display of Indian martial arts of Kalyaripattu, Kukri dance and Mallakhamb by soldiers of Indain army and a massed martial arts display by the Chinese contingent.

The ongoing exercise is the sixth joint training exercise by the Indian Army with People's Liberation Army of China. It is held annually, alternately, in India and China.
