27 Lakh crores? Indian forces can never match the power alone let alone the combined power of the two enemies. It is better we go for electronic warfare and more short range Missiles and small nuclear devices so that their armies can be contained. It is real foolish to match their or only power as is not a very big industrial giant and even US is afraid of its might.

It is a mind boggling amount which is needed. As we have to depend on western powers for the supply of arms and armaments, we have to be careful that outdated equipments are not supplied to us at exhorbitant costs. A modernised and well equipped army is definitely needed.

The next war will not be fought with guns, but with keystroke of computer programs. If India becomes the market of the world, trust me, all our vendor countries will protect us. Guns may give firepower but we need digital guns. Not that i prefer but can be brought down to its knees if you can attack its infrastructure. Power grid, metro, satellite communication... this is where the war will be fought.
