Man sexually assaults minor girl at knife point in Chandigarh park on I-Day

CHANDIGARH: A minor girl, who was returning home after attending the Independence Day function in her school, was allegedly assaulted and raped at knife point inside the Children Traffic Park in Sector 23 on Tuesday morning.The 12-year-old girl is a student of class VIII in a government school of the city.

周二早上，某未成年女孩在参加学校的独立日活动后，于回家路上被指在23区儿童交通公园的遭到持刀袭击和强奸。这个12岁的少女是一名市政府学校八年级的学生。

Sources said that at the time of incident there were two cops on duty in the park. Police have also called up the school principal and teachers along with the watchman for questioning. Police have also round up few drug addicts of the area for interrogation.

Meanwhile, in another incident, a sector 40 resident complained that three car borne miscreants stalked her and tried to kidnap her in sector 37 on Monday late night. The girl was returning home after work on her scooter when the incident took place. The youths in the car started following her and tried to drag her in the car. She managed to reach home and told their parents about the incident. Based on her complaint, police have registered a case of stalking and wrongful restraint against the miscreants at sector 36 police station.
