NEW DELHI: The Rajasthan government is set to create a record of sorts next Tuesday, August 29, when Prime Minister Narendra Modi rolls out more than 9,500 road projects, including national highways, state roads and rural roads under PMGSY and the state's flagship programmes. These will altogether cost over Rs 27,000 crore.

According to sources, 109 projects over 3,000 kilometres are being funded by the road transport ministry and the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) — the projects primarily involve widening of highways, and improvement and construction of state roads. They will cost around Rs 15,000 crore.
