World's 'heaviest' woman Eman Ahmed dies in Abu Dhabi

MUMBAI: Eman Ahmed, formerly the 'heaviest' woman in the world, passed away at 4.35am on Monday due to comorbid conditions, including heart disease and kidney dysfunction, according to medical experts at the Burjeel Hospital in Abu Dhabi, The National reported.

孟买：根据阿布扎比的The National报道，在Burjeel医院，埃曼?艾哈迈德，曾是世上最重的女人，在周一（9月25日）早上4:35因包括心脏疾病和肾衰竭在内的并发症去世。

The Egyptian national, who earlier weighed 500kg and suffered from a rare thyroid condition since childhood, had been transferred to Burjeel Hospital from India in May to continue rehabilitation from bariatric surgery.

这位埃及人之前体重达到500公斤，从儿童时期便患有罕见的甲状腺疾病，她在今年5月的时候，从印度转移到Burjeel医院，继续接受减肥手术。

She had lost more than 300kg after the surgery.
Eman Ahmed, who lost about 330 kilograms after undergoing weight-loss surgery in Mumbai's Saifee hospital, had left for the United Arab Emirates for long-term treatment on May 4.

经过手术之后，她掉了超过300公斤的重量。埃曼?艾哈迈德在孟买Saifee医院接受减肥手术掉了330公斤重后，于5月4日前往阿拉伯联合酋长国接受长期治疗。

While I am sad for loss of life, I am not at all sorry for what happened after all her family behaved that typical thankless morons after all help and care that Indians gave to give this lady a chance to live, when the whole world cared little for this lady and India went out of way to airlift her from Egypt build a separate hospital ward for her and entire hospital worked overtime for her treatment and they blamed everyone of "mess up"....... ever heard about law of karma!!

Being doctor I know how much complicated case that was ?? Specially when there is involvement of more than one systems, complicated Endocrinal and metabolic imbalances to tackle. Great courage and hard work shown by Indian doctors team, but eventually like every time doctors get hate and allegations from relatives of patients. That's the sad story of medical field.
