Chinese men in Australia on tourist visas are caught scamming people out of money by pretending to be Buddhist monks and begging for alms

Chinese men with shaved heads and wearing orange robes are impersonating Buddhists scouring the streets of Perth and rip off unwitting residents.

At least three of the men were seen today around the Perth CBD asking for donations.

Two of the men confessed they were not collecting money for a legitimate charity when they were confronted by police, PerthNow reported.
They also admitted that they were on tourist visas.

I see them whenever I'm in NYC, they'll try to give you a prayer bracelet & the gold blessings card then ask for a donation for the Temple that they are building, must be either a big Temple or they need to put on an additional work crew because they've been operating around Times Square for years.

Buddhist monks never asking any one for money because it's one of their precepts out of 227 disciplines of how to observe to be a Buddhist monk and asking money or any valuable things are strictly forbidden. These Chinese men are totally scammer.
