IAF helicopter collides with iron girder, catches fire; one person killed

印度空军一架直升机撞上着陆场附近的铁栏杆后坠毁，一人死亡

DEHRADUN: One person was killed and three others injured when an Indian Air Force (IAF) cargo helicopter caught fire while landing in Uttarakhand's Kedarnath today, reported ANI.

The MI-17 helicopter reportedly caught fire after it hit an iron girder while it was attempting to land in a helipad near the Kedarnath temple.

The chopper was carrying construction material from Guptakashi to Kedarnath and crashed landed just short of the helipad. It took off at 8:00am and the accident happened at 8:20am. All six IAF personnel on board are safe though the pilot sustained minor injuries on leg.

这架隶属于印度空军的Mi-17V5型直升机当时正试图降落在北阿坎德邦克达纳斯神庙附近的直升机停机坪，随后该机机腹撞上了着陆场附近的铁栏杆后起火并坠毁。机上6名印度空军人员都安全，飞行员的脚受轻伤。

直升机当时运输的是施工材料，早上8点起飞，20分钟后发生事故。

the pilot was incompetent as it was hitting the iron grils while landing...see the isreali pilot , they were able the land c17 big plane in complete darkness in the 1976 to resuce the hijacket plane...and thise day the plane was not made to do that kind of job..but the advance versiin if the same plane was crashed by our pilot in broad day light many times..our pilot were poor trained or technically chalanged.

反观以色列飞行员，早在1976年，为了营救被劫持的飞机，以色列人开着C17大型飞机在伸手不见五指的地方成功降落。

而我们飞行员大白天开着飞机也会摔下来。

印度飞行员训练水平不够，技术不行
