Construction for bullet train corridor to begin in January 2019

New Delhi: Construction for India’s first high-speed train project, the 508-km long Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train corridor, will begin in January 2019, said officials.

They said that land acquisition will be completed by the end of this year and the mega project, costing Rs 1.08 lakh crore, will be completed by the end of 2022.

有印度官员透露，长达508公里的孟买至艾哈迈达巴德高铁走廊，也就是印度第一条高铁，将于2019年1月开工。

相关征地工作将于年底完成。这条投资高达1.08万亿的高铁将于2022年底完工。
