This is an initiative to be supported and enforced strictly in EVERY state of the country. Plastics pollute and are toxc to life forms! But the ban needs to be accompanied by massive awareness programmes at every level and for every age.

when biscuits, many food packaging is done with plastic this hippocracy of banning carry bags is useless. Ban must be across the board otherwise it'll be another meaningless decision.

Govt must attack the source ie raw matetial supplier, machines manfg co that make such plastic bags and plastic bag producers. If production and supply chain is disrupted, the usage will come down on its own.
