铁路官员：7-8个月后，火车晚点将有所缓解

NEW DELHI: The railways said chronic train delays would ease in seven to eight months as ongoing work related to track renewal and elimination of unmanned level crossings, the main reasons for such holdups, would be over by then.

印度铁路部门表示，随着铁轨的更换，以及无人值守平交道口的取消，印度火车晚点将在7-8个月后有所缓解。

Railway board member (traffic) M Jamshed said around 5,000 km of tracks was renewed in 2017-18

印度铁路局成员称，2017-18年有大约5000公里铁轨得到了更换。
