A massive snake found hiding under a car bonnet has been caught after a shocked female driver called the police in China.

Ms in first spotted an 11-foot-long serpent resting at the front wheel of her car, and it later slithered up to the engine.

The python was removed after a reptile expert and the local police officers.

The 3.4-metre-long (11-foot-long) python was said to be seeking shelter under a car that was parked outside the Badain Jaran Hotel in Alxa League on June 11, according to local reports.

The terrified Ms in called Helanshan Forestry Police soon as she noticed the snake hiding at the wheels when she was about to get in the car.
