Shocking moment zoo visitors laugh and throw rocks at tiger to 'make it move'

Three unruly visitors at a zoo in Beiing were filmed throwing rocks at a tiger in its enclosure on Monday, sparking outrage among net users.

The visitors at Beiing Wildlife Park were caught on camera hurling rocks over the tall fence at the tiger, reportedly to make it move.

The zoo has reportedly launched an investigation into the matter, according to Beiing Youth Daily.

有网友发布视频称，在北京一野生动物园游玩时，碰到3名游客不断拣地上的小石头砸园区内老虎。视频内，男子几次从地上捡起石子向笼内老虎投掷。

据报道，动物园已经就此展开调查。

What a bunch of disgusting pieces of trash! The zoo employees need to watch for people like this and have them criminally charged if they throw anything at the animals!? We are in San Diego, CA where we have the San Diego Zoo and the Safari Park. 10's of 1000's of people go daily and we never have problems like this. If someone was seen doing this, the public would beat them up before the employees even got there!

With the high admission prices that zoos charge today you cannot blame people for wanting to liven up the animals. Zoo managers should do more to ensure the animals entertain the public. I remember the zoos of my youth included elephant rides and chimps tea parties which delighted everybody. Nowadays the animals look bored and lazy and sleep all day.
