Well China has not done too badly with its fledgling space programme. Most Westerners forget that to get US, European or other nations astronauts to the International Space Station, they have to train in Russia to launch on a Soyuz rocket.

Maybe time to see just how accurate interception rockets are. That is, blow it up whilst still in space. However, I doubt they will do that as there is enough human made space debris already floating about.
