Elon Musk reveals Tesla to open massive 500,000 car a year Gigafactory in Shanghai

Tesla Chief Executive Officer Elon Musk on Tuesday landed a deal with Chinese authorities to build a new auto plant in Shanghai, called the Gigafactory 3.

Tesla's first factory outside the United States, it would double the size of the electric car maker's global manufacturing.
