印度中央邦，年轻的夫妇私奔而被迫喝尿

INDORE: A newly-married couple was beaten up and forced to drink urine by the bride's family members after they eloped and married against their wishes in Alirajpur district.

The couple was slee in the house of the groom’s uncle on June 25, when they were dragged out by the girl's father and her relatives and beaten up in Hardaspur village, Ambua police station in-charge Vikas Kapis told TOI.

一对新婚夫妇私奔，不顾家人的反对而结婚，结果被新娘的家人殴打，并被迫喝尿。

6月25日，这对夫妇在新郎叔叔家里休息时，被女方的父亲和亲戚拖出来殴打，当地警察对印度时报记者这样说。

The 23-year-old man and the 21-year-old woman had eloped in May and had returned home from Gujarat to attend a function in the groom’s family, when the girl's relatives came to know about their presence, he said adding the man was tied to a pole and the woman’s hair were cut off.

23岁的新郎和21岁的新娘是今年5月私奔的，他们这次是从古吉拉特邦回家参加新郎家里的一个活动，结果被女方亲戚获悉。

男子被绑在电线杆上，女子的头发被剪掉。

“The couple alleged in their complaint on June 28 that the attackers tore portions of the woman’s clothes and forced the couple to drink urine,” Kapis said.

女方家人撕烂了她身上的一部分衣服，然后逼迫这对夫妇喝尿。

The couple lodged a complaint with the police accusing the girl’s father, Mal Singh, cousin Dinesh and four others of attacking them. Police have arrested Mal Singh and Dinesh, while attempts were on to nab the others, the sub-inspector said.

事后，夫妇向警察报案，指控女方父亲、堂兄和另外4人殴打他们。

警方已经逮捕了女方的父亲和堂兄，其他人正在追捕中。

The man and the woman belonged to the Bhilala community, where practice of couples elo is common. As per the tradition, the groom and bride’s family negotiate a sum that the boy’s family has to pay to the bride’s family to strike the deal and get a nod for the marriage, Kapis said

按照传统，双方家庭进行了谈判，男方家里向女方家里支付一笔同意费。

The attack seems to be a result of the disagreement among them, he added.

据悉，这次殴打是双方未达成协议的结果。

The groom’s family claimed that they had paid Rs. 70,000 in cash and two goats to the bride’s family as part of the deal that was not honoured by the attackers.

新郎家人表示，他们已经向女方家里支付了7万卢比现金，另外送过去了两只羊。
