A Chinese nurse has been hailed as a hero after trying to save an injured elderly woman while still wearing her wedding dress.

Bride-to-be ie Dan, rushed to perform CPR on the pensioner after witnessing a traffic accident on her way to have her wedding photos taken on Saturday, according to media reports.

The nurse later told the press modestly: 'I only did what I should have done.'

现场视频显示，一名穿着白色婚纱的新娘跪在地上，正在按压伤者的胸部，应该是在为伤者做心肺复苏。

这位女护士对记者说：“我只是做了我该做的。”

The injured pensioner sustained severe injuries on the head and was taken to the hospital by an ambulance. She passed away in the hospital, inhua reported.

据悉，老太被急救车运走后，终因伤势过重不幸离世。

I saw two people on separate trips to China, get run over in the street. People do not have the right of way there. What she did was amazing, given her own life was also in danger sitting in the road. It's brutal there and an old lady run over is nothing to a tax driver in a hurry. Horrible place.
