I have done a lot of business in both China and India. China is an easy place with which to do business. Quality is not quite there yet but it will be. India is a totally different kettle of fish , utterly corrupt and unreliable. Any one who thinks India is an emerging super power is completely deluded

The U.S. might have $20 Trillion GDP economy, but from that the U.S. govt produces tax revenues no greater than the PRC or even France and Germany combined, the U.S. has a tax revenue deficit of 33% of govt spending. (i.e U.S. govt generates 3 trillions in tax, spends over 4)

Essentially a bankrupt, banana republic with nukes.

Hardly bankrupt......America could double its tax rate tomorrow and the problem would be solved.

America also has a proven ability to resolve financial crisis.

Consider how the inflation of the 1970s set the stage for the resurgence of US economic predominance in the 1980s.

To be bankrupt implies having no assets....America is far from that....especially with oil production surging.

It is precisely competition between nations which allows for advance. It is the EU that limits and discourages competition between its individual nations by smothering them with one-size-fits-all regulations. Brext is an antidote for that.

The US has gone along with the imperialism of the EU (i.e., Germany) up to this point. Fortunately, that is ending.

Face it....without America China would not have experience the spectacular growth of the last 30 years.

It is not so much about dominance as business loyalty.

Perhaps when Western businesses are loyal to their own national workforces and prepared to 'fairly pay' a home workforce rather than one in India or China, perhaps the Western economies will re-balance.

But of course it is all about profit. Who knows for when AI comes fully into operation it may be seen that those jobs outsourced to India and China will be the first to be lost. THEN one will find that the world of political correctness will be shouting the unfairness to the rooftops.

Great Pity Then the unfairness of zero hour contracts is not being addressed AND NOW!!

It will unless illegal steel dum, currency manipulation and state aid is stopped. trump is now punishing china for this but the big companies don't like it because it means no more slave labour to build their phones and clothes.
