DAVANAGERE: As #MeToo movement gathers momentum, a video surfaced on Tuesday of a woman raining blows on a man after he allegedly sought sexual favours from her in Davanagere, about 260km from Bengaluru.

The manager of a housing finance company, reports said, demanded sex to sanction her home loan of Rs 15 lakh. Late Tuesday evening, the firm sacked him and offered to co-operate with investigating agencies.

据报道，一家住房融资公司的经理，要求以性换贷，才同意向一名女子提供150万卢比的房贷。16日晚上，公司将他解雇，并配合相关机构的调查。

The video shows the woman thrashing Devaiah, 42, with a stick and slap him with her slipper. Asking him to go with her to the police, she kicks him and hits him with her bare hands as well.

The woman had gone to the office of Dewan Housing Finance Corporation Ltd (DHFL) a week ago and applied for a housing loan. Devaiah asked her to submit documents, which she did. He allegedly did not sanction the loan.

从视频来看，只见女子用木棍和拖鞋殴打42岁的德瓦雅（Devaiah），要求她一起去警察局，还踢他，徒手殴打他。

据悉，德瓦雅承认对这名女子行为不端。

When she went to the office on Monday to enquire about the loan, Devaiah reportedly asked her to meet him at his house in S Nijalingappa Layout in the town. She went to his house in the evening. The manager allegedly demanded sex to approve the loan, sources said.

10月15日，女子来到德万房产金融有限公司（DHFL）的办公室了解贷款事宜。据说德瓦雅让她到家里见面。

女子是晚上去他家的。有消息人士称，据说这位银行经理告诉她，只有为他提供性服务，才能获得贷款。

The woman dragged him out of the house by his collar and began hitting him with a stick. She took him to the police station and a case was filed by the Davanagere women police station. Devaiah admitted to misbehaving with her, a police officer said.
