MiG-27 crashes near Jaisalmer, pilot ejects safely

印度空军一架米格27战机在杰伊瑟尔梅尔附近坠毁，飞行员安全弹出

JAIPUR: A MiG-27 aircraft of the Indian Airforce crashed on Tuesday evening at Jaisalmer while on a training mission though there were no casualties as the pilot ejected safely.

Confirming the incident an IAF official said, "A MiG-27 aircraft airborne for a training mission from Jaisalmer crashed at around 1810 hours near Pokhran Range. Pilot ejected safely. A court of inquiry will investigate the cause of the accident."

印度空军一名官员12日证实，一架隶属于印度空军的米格-27战斗机当天晚上在印度拉贾斯坦邦杰伊瑟尔梅尔进行例行训练时坠毁，飞行员安全弹出，没有造成人员伤亡。

目前，有关事故的调查正在进行。

Every time an aircraft crashes we hear there will be an investigation..what is the result and after math of those investigations...no one knows...i think it is just eye wash...being a pakistani i like ur crashing planes but dont like human loss.thanks God no one died this time

This is the state of affairs handed down to current government by preceding ones for 70 years prior. Mig 27 long discontinued. One of the worst in IAF inventory. And we are fighting over Rafael jet procurement. Shame!!
