Alert train driver saves four-year-old boy on tracks in Goa

在果阿邦，火车司机警惕性很高，救了铁路上的一位4岁男孩

MARGAO: A four-year-old boy was saved from the jaws of death after the driver of the train applied brakes just in time to stop the train from running over the boy.

为了不撞上一名男孩，火车司机紧急制动，把这位4岁男孩从鬼门关拉了回来。

Deputy manager, public relations, Baban Ghatge, told reporters, that Suresh Kumar, the loco pilot of 70103 Down Pernem-Karwar DEMU train noticed the child running on the tracks meters away from the train between Margao and Balli stations. Kumar applied the brakes and stopped the train in the nick of time.

据报道，火车司机苏雷什·库玛尔发现男孩在铁路上奔跑，距离火车只有几米之遥。万分危急之际，库玛尔及时刹车。

Railways should introduce a Whistle of Warning, for such incidences, whereby the whistle will give a continuous loud warning before an accident or at least make an effort to prevent it

If this was in the US, child would have been send to foster care and parents would have been charged for negligence in child care. We need strong laws in India to enaure safety of minors. Most of minor rapes and death will be avoided if parents excercise proper care and supervision.
