NEW DELHI: In 2059, the country’s population is estimated to peak at 1.65 billion. After that, our population will start shrinking. As for , it will peak much faster but, by then, India would have overtaken it.

2059年，印度人口估计将达到16.5亿。随后，印度人口将开始萎缩。

India is already in deep doodoo with water emergency in Chennai and other 40% of the country facing acute shortage, food output in danger because of less rainfall each year, power supply erratic because of low production, and you talk about 50 years from now. This should be declared a national emergency and strictest measures be put into place. Not tomorrow. But NOW

Still no population control measure being introduced in India .Atlast we will be number one in one thing that is population even are happy to give that title to us lol. Politicians , Bollywood stars ,cricket stars ,industrialist , business are in profit whereas common man has to struggle more if population increase.There would be fight to survive for everything right from water to food .
