印度财政部长:印度仍是增长最快的经济体

NEW DELHI: Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Tuesday said India continues to be the fastest-growing economy in the world, with deceleration setting in the US and Europe, while stressing that demonetisation did not have any adverse impact on the country’s manufacturing sector.

新德里：周二，印度财政部长尼尔马拉•西塔拉曼表示，随着美国和欧洲经济增速放缓，印度仍是全球增长最快的经济体。她同时强调，“废钞令”并未对印度制造业造成任何负面影响。

Noting that economic growth was high on government’s agenda, with several reforms being undertaken in many spheres to boost the GDP growth, Sitharaman said the moderation in the growth momentum in 2018-19 was primarily due to lower growth in ‘agriculture and allied’, ‘trade, hotel, transport, storage, communication and services related to broadcasting’ and ‘public administration and defence’ sectors.

西塔拉曼指出经济增长是政府的重要议程，印度政府在许多领域进行了几项改革，以促进GDP增长。2018-19年增长势头放缓，主要是因为“农业及其相关产业”、“贸易、酒店、交通、仓储、通信和广播相关服务”以及“公共管理和国防”等行业的增长放缓。

The government has taken several steps to ensure more money goes to people where money goes directly through DBT into the people’s hands, are schemes through which people are getting benefits. As per estimates available from Central Statistics Office, GDP growth at constant prices was 6.8% in 2018-2019, as compared to 7.2% in 2017-18 and 8.2% in 2016-17, she said.

1. If we are the fastest growing economy, why is the industrial growth,agrucultural growth and exports are lower than 2004-2014?
2. Before we claim to be the fastest growing economy,we first need to know what is our per capita GDP?
3. If has slowed down,does it make ours,the fastest growkng economy?
4. How much a 1% of increase in ''s GDP add to its 10 trillion dollar economy and how much a 1% increase add to our 2.5(?) Trillion dollar economy?
