BENGALURU: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is one of the top job creators in the US, Milind Lakkad, the company’s global HR head said.

He did not disclose any numbers, but sources told TOI the company has about 40,000 people in the US, almost 10% of its total workforce and the highest among its Indian IT peers. Currently, the company has 872 open positions in the US, including 644 in technology.

塔塔咨询服务公司的人力资源部负责人Milind Lakkad表示，塔塔咨询服务是美国创造就业最多的公司之一。

Having 40000 employees in US does not mean TCS hired them in US. Most of them have been taken from India through H1-B or L1-A or L1-B visas. I would NEVER trust claim of Indian IT companies - they are master story teller. And that is a gross understatement.

Many of our well trained talents from the IITS and IIMs are employed in the US, Canada and many other countries. So, we should salute the CEOs of these companies.
