PM Modi to visit NYC, Houston in September

莫迪总理将于9月访问纽约和休斯顿

WASHINGTON: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting New York and Houston in the third week of September, continuing New Delhi's tradition of engagement with the Trump administration and the Indian-American community in the US on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly meet.

华盛顿: 印度总理纳伦德拉·莫迪将于9月的第三周访问纽约和休斯顿，延续新德里在联合国大会间隙期间与特朗普政府和印裔美国人社区接洽的传统。

The Prime Minister will attend the UNGA session in New York City between September 20-23 and take a day off to visit Houston to meet and greet the large Indian-American community in Texas, according to community organisers who have been apprised of his program. It is not known yet if he will visit Washington DC, but it is more than likely he will meet President Trump and other world leaders on the sidelines of the UN meet.

莫迪将于9月20日至23日出席在纽约举行的联合国大会，并抽出一天时间访问休斯顿，与德克萨斯州的印裔美国人社区见面致意。目前尚不清楚他是否会访问华盛顿，但他很有可能在联合国会议期间会见特朗普总统和其他世界领导人。

Counting Dallas and other nearby cities, there are an estimated 250,000+ people of Indian origin in Texas.
