BAREILLY: Police on Tuesday rescued a girl from Tinsukia in Assam and her 25-year-old husband, who were found lying unconscious along railway tracks under Fatehganj (West) police jurisdiction, and admitted them to the emergency ward of the district hospital.

The girl, Baby (18), alleged that her husband Moradabad resident Hira (25), had thrown her off a speeding train, and himself jumped off it afterwards.

18岁的女孩指控25岁的丈夫，将她从一列快速行驶中的火车推下，然后自己也跳下火车。

“I used to receive calls from an unknown number for around three months. Eventually, I started talking to the caller (Hira) and then fell in love with him. We then decided to get married. On July 26, Hira reached Tinsukia and I eloped with him. We reached Patna the next day, stayed in a hotel for two days and got married in a temple on July 29,” the girl said.
Baby added they boarded a Moradabad-bound train on Tuesday. The train had just crossed Bareilly when Hira threw her off.

女孩说，“最近三个月以来，我常常接到陌生电话。后来，我开始和对方聊，聊了后坠入爱河。我们决定结婚。7月26日那一天，对方来到丁苏卡，我和他一起私奔。第二天，我们来到巴特那，在一家酒店住了两天，并与7月29日在一寺庙结婚。”

周二，两人踏上开往莫拉达巴德的火车。火车刚经过巴雷利时，丈夫就将其推下火车。

Hira was not in any condition to narrate his side of the story, but Baby insisted she had been thrown off the running train, after which her husband followed voluntarily. She also said her father, Upendra Ram, was an employee of Tinsukia municipality, and that she had dropped off school after Class V. SP (city) Abhinandan Singh said GRP has been instructed to probe the case, while the girl has been referred to Lucknow in a critical condition.
