Delhi: Cab driver allegedly rapes JNU student after drugging her

德里：出租车司机涉嫌给尼赫鲁大学的学生下药并强奸她

NEW DELHI: A JNU second year student was allegedly drugged and raped by a cab driver while she was returning from her friend's house on Friday night.

The 21-year-old woman told the police that she had boarded the vehicle from the Mandir Marg area and the cab driver drove for around three hours after ra her.

The complainant was found in semi-conscious state near a park in south Delhi by some locals who got her admitted to a hospital where doctors confirmed a sexual assault.

新德里：据报道，周五晚上，尼赫鲁大学一名大二女生，在从朋友家回来路上，疑似被出租车司机下药并强奸。

这名21岁的受害者对警方说，她是在Mandir Marg上车的。

受害者是在南德里一公园附近被当地人发现的，当时她出于半清醒状态。后来，当地人将她送往医院治疗。在医院，医生确认她遭受了性侵。

After she was discharged, the complainant managed to reach her hostel and narrate the incident to the authorities.
She was taken to the police station for a statement and a case was registered.

In her statement the woman said that the cab driver had allegedly offered her something due to which she fell unconscious. After this, he had raped her in the cab.

出院后，受害者将这起事件告诉了当局，她被送到警察局进行陈述，警方随之进行了立案。

她在诉状中说，出租车司机疑似给她吃了点东西，吃了后，她就不省人事了。后来，出租车司机在车内强奸了她。

Police are trying to track down the cab based on her description. The woman hails from western Uttar Pradesh and is pursuing a foreign language course in JNU

根据受害者的描述，警方正在追查那辆出租车。

据悉，女子来自北方邦，目前正在尼赫鲁大学学习外语。
