NEW DELHI: Congress will launch a 10-day agitation against economic slowdown after former PM Manmohan Singh on Thursday called it a “gloom and doom situation” and accused the government of refusing to Modi acknowledge the crisis.

新德里：周四，印度前总理曼莫汉•辛格称经济放缓令人沮丧

The party will take to the streets in the national and state capitals from October 15-25 to sensitise people about the “betrayal” of election promises by BJP and the threat of growing joblessness. The campaign will coincide with the election campaign in Maharashtra, Jharkhand and Haryana.

该党将于10月15日至25日在全国各邦首府举行街头游行，让民众了解人民党对选举承诺的“背叛”，以及失业率上升的威胁。游行活动期间，马哈拉施特拉邦、恰尔肯德邦和哈里亚纳邦也将举行竞选活动
