NEW DELHI: With setting a furious pace in construction of new aircraft carriers, and India in the danger of losing this combat and power projection edge in the Indian Ocean Region, the Navy now plans to take up afresh its long-pending case for a third aircraft carrier with the government.

随着快速建造新航母，印度恐怕会在印度洋地区失去力量投送的优势。为此，印度海军计划向政府重提建造第三艘航母这一拖延已久的事宜。
