WASHINGTON: The global economy is witnessing "synchronized slowdown", which will result in slower growth for 90 per cent of the world this year, and the effect is even "more pronounced" in some of the largest emerging market economies like India, new IMF chief Kristalina Georgieva has warned.

华盛顿：国际货币基金组织(IMF)新任总裁克里斯塔利娜•格奥尔基耶娃警告称，全球经济正经历“同步放缓”，从而导致今年全球90%的地区经济增长放缓，在印度等一些最大的新兴市场经济体，这种影响“更为明显”。

The managing director of International Monetary Fund (IMF) pointed out that the widespread deceleration means that growth this year will fall to its lowest rate since the begng of the decade.

国际货币基金组织(IMF)总裁指出，普遍的经济减速意味着今年的增长率将降至本世纪初以来的最低水平。
