AHMEDABAD: The Narendra Modi government's ambitious project of bullet train got a full clearance from the Gujarat high court on Thursday, as it rejected over 100 petitions filed by farmers challenging the land acquisition process and demanding higher compensation.

随着古吉拉特邦最高法院驳回农民反对高铁征地以及要求提高征地补偿的诉求，莫迪政府雄心勃勃的高铁工程遇到的障碍也被扫清。

The present Bullet train will only help the business people of both Gujarat and Mumbai. The total cost must be born by those two states and not by all the states. It''s a fancy for them , at the cost of the rest of the country. Bullet trains are for reducing travel time for long distance travelers like connecting Delhi to South Capitals. When the Govt will take up this route?

这条高铁建成后，只是方便了古吉拉特邦和孟买这两地商务人员的出行。

修建成本应该由两个邦一起出，而不是由全国人民来出。

This Bullet train project is luxurious and not affordable to common man. It is waste of time and money, it should be scrapped completely. Instead improve present conditions of expressways and railway services first. There are so many potholes on all road connecting Ahmedabad or Delhi or Goa.

Whether its the Central Government or the State Government, any projects undertaken by the State or the Country, for the betterment of the country''s citizens should not be allowed to be stopped by the Illiterate rural brigade, whose only interest is greed to extract more compensation from the Public purse.

I agree that the farmers need to be adequately compensated for land. However, to ask for current land price is not fair. The current land price is because of the project itself and the benefits the bulletvtrain is expected to provide. The price shoukd pre- bullet yrain project costs. If the land costs are kept high no worth while project can be developed and this will not help the cause of industrialization and hence job creation.

农民土地被征，适当给以补偿款，是应该的。

然而，要求以土地的行情价进行补偿是不合理的。

在要修高铁的利好下，土地才升值的啊，现在你要按照升值后的土地价进行补偿，是不合理的。

应该按照修高铁消息放出来之前的土地价格进行补偿。

This is the problem with mega project. The farmer who lost the land has to suffer and the neighborhod land owner enjoy the benefits at the cost of land lost farmers. Is it natural justice. Govt should give good compensation to the farmer who given his land for project

Govt. must implement and complete those projects first which are planned 50 years ago, on priority basis. With sudden implementation of such projects it will create chaos among society.
