NEW Delhi: Norther Army Command chief Lt-General Ranbir Singh, seven other officers and a technician had a narrow escape when their Dhruv advanced light helicopter (ALH) crash-landed after develo a technical snag in the Pooch area of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday afternoon.

The Army said Lt-Gen Singh, his brigadier-rank military advisor and other staff officers, the two pilots and the technician sustained “minor injuries” in what it described as a “forced-landing” of the twin-engine ALH
