Aligarh: 19-year-old girl throws acid on boyfriend for refusing to marry her

AGRA: A 19-year-old girl was arrested on Thursday for allegedly throwing acid on her boyfriend who refused to marry her, in Aligarh’s Jeevangarh area under Kawarsi police jurisdiction.

阿格拉：周四，一名19岁女孩因向拒绝娶她的男友泼硫酸而被捕，事发地点位于卡瓦西警方管辖的阿里格尔杰万格尔地区。

An FIR has been registered against the girl under section 326 A (voluntarily causing grievous hurt by use of acid) of IPC on the basis of a complaint filed by victim’s family member.

根据受害者家属提出的申诉，根据刑法第326 A条，已对该女孩进行立案。

According to the victim’s mother, the girl was in a relationship with her son but he stopped talking to her a month ago. She claimed that the girl started pressuring him to get married and was harassing him by calling him on phone every day. She said that she called her son even Thursday morning and when he did not respond to her call, she threw acid on him, when he was standing at a shop near his house.

受害者的母亲表示，女孩和她儿子在谈恋爱，但她儿子一个月前就不再和女孩联系了。她说，那个女孩开始给他施加压力，逼他结婚，每天打电话骚扰他。她说，周四早上女孩还给儿子打电话，他儿子没接。后来，她就朝他泼硫酸，当时他正站在家附近的一家商店里。

However, the girl alleged that the boy was threatening to make her intimate pictures with him viral on social media, if she did not marry him.

然而，女孩声称，如果她不答应嫁，男孩就会在社交媒体上疯传他们俩的亲密照片。

Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College’s Dr SS Zaidi said that the youth’s eye was badly affected by the acid attack. He said that he still is under treatment.

贾瓦哈尔·拉尔·尼赫鲁医学院的SS Zaidi博士称，男孩的眼睛受到硫酸严重灼伤，仍在接受治疗。
