NEW DELHI: Lockdown 4.0 is likely to see further opening up of economic activities, particularly manufacturing in more sectors, and importantly, resumption of flights on limited domestic routes. There are however indications that the zone classification criteria — based on which districts are declared red, green and orange zones — may not see any major change.

If everything is going to open up what was the reason for the initial lockdown when covid cases were in just few hundreds. Decision should have been taken in Jan-Feb to shut down all international flights which would have saved the country from this entire drama unfolding now.
